    FAQ

    European coverage, answered.

Which European regulators does ComplianceSuite support?

The platform supports supervision by national AML authorities across the EU and EEA — including BaFin, ACPR, Banca d'Italia, DNB, CSSF, MFSA and the Central Bank of Cyprus — plus the FCA and HMRC in the United Kingdom, and reporting to national FIUs. It is also built for the incoming AMLA supervisory model for selected obliged entities.

How does the platform handle the shift from AMLD to the AML Regulation?

Obligations are held as configurable rules rather than hard-coded logic, so directive-based national rules and the directly applicable AML Regulation can run side by side. Each control is versioned with an effective date, so you can evidence what applied at the time of a decision during a supervisory review.

    Is EU data residency available?

Yes. Tenants can be pinned to EU hosting with AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access with maker-checker controls and an immutable audit log. ComplianceSuite is ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 certified and ships with a GDPR-aligned DPA.

Can one platform cover both EU and UK entities in a group?

Yes. Multi-entity support gives each legal entity its own risk model, screening lists, policies and regulator filings — for example EU Consolidated List and national FIU reporting for an EU subsidiary, and OFSI plus NCA SARs for a UK entity — while the group MLRO sees consolidated risk.

How do European implementations usually start?

Most teams begin with a scoped discovery session mapping current controls, supervisory findings and data sources to a target programme, typically with a 6-10 week implementation plan and parallel-run period.
